What We Offer at Harbor House

We provide living spaces that…
were designed by residents and their families, personalized to the needs of the individuals we serve in homes, and that are completely accessible and welcoming for people of all abilities.

We meet the physical needs of our residents by...
collaborating with residents and their guardians to create a care plan that meets their expectations.

We meet the emotional needs of those who live here…
by focusing on a relational approach to care where our staff step into each situation with a commitment to understand and support each person.

We meet the social needs of those who live here…
by encouraging participation in activities with the HHM family as well as the community at large.

We meet the spiritual needs of our residents…
by giving each person at Harbor House Ministries an opportunity to create a Spiritual Care Plan. This plan outlines the daily spiritual practices chosen by an individual, if any. The people who live at HHM attend a variety of churches in our community as well as on our campus.

How Do I Move In?

Moving in to Harbor House Ministries starts when you have a conversation with your County Mental Health Case Manager to make sure that you have a need for specialized residential services and insurance funding to cover that cost.

They will then advocate for a placement for your loved one.

Once referred to HHM the process continues as your family and the HHM family work together to meet the individual care goals of your loved one to enhance opportunities for growth and independence.
