Harbor House Ministries is a vibrant community of people with diverse abilities and challenges. Together we work to foster a community where each person is valued as an individual and as a part of the greater community. The Harbor House Ministries community includes individuals who live at Harbor House, their families, friends, staff, and neighbors.
The admission process at Harbor House Ministries begins with an inquiry or a tour. We would like to talk with you about your care needs and most importantly about your hopes and dreams for daily life. Once it has been determined that Harbor House Ministries is a good fit for residential services, approval must be received from insurance. For most people, the insurance is a form of Medicaid, Long-term care insurance, or Auto insurance. Typically, the case worker from your insurance will contact Harbor House Ministries to discuss your care needs and the insurance expectations in meeting those needs. After an agreement is reached between Harbor House Ministries and your insurance, the move-in process can begin.
