The vision for Harbor House Ministries began when two families sat together at a kitchen table talking about what the future might hold for their children with severe multiple impairments. Where would they live? How would their complex needs be met? They wanted a future for their children where they could pursue their interests, grow in the faith, and broaden their friendships. Thus, a vision for Harbor House Ministries was born. A non-profit board was formed and funds were raised to build accessible housing for adults with complex care needs.
