One-on-One Volunteer
A 1:1 Volunteer enjoys building a friendship with a resident by spending time with them doing whatever they are interested in – read a book; engage in a craft, game, or activity; share a coffee time; etc. Commitment and consistency is highly valued in this role.

On-Campus Activities Assistance
The On-Campus Activities Assistant leads activities in the home on a regular or as-needed basis. They may be engaged through activities such as crafts, games, story times, music times, cooking lessons, devotions, and other activities as skills, interests, and time allow. Tell us your talent and we'll plug you in!

Adventure Assistance
An Adventure Assistant accompanies a resident on their community outings and may be called upon to assist with general engagement with the activity. Some examples of outings include going out for coffee, touring a zoo, farm, or museum, walking through a park; etc.

On-Deck Assistance
The On Deck Assistant helps with supervision of resident swimming activity, keeps the pool areas tidy, prepares shower area for resident use, and other as-needed tasks required for a safe swimming experience.

Seasonal Grounds Keeping
Seasonal grounds assistants may be asked to prepare or take down our garden beds or to clean up debris, spread mulch or other tasks as needed.

Weekly Garden Care
The weekly garden helper’s work involves weeding, dead heading, watering, and other tasks as requested by the Maintenance Manager.

Work Days
The folks on this list will help with periodic cleaning tasks such as window washing, equipment cleaning and repairs, outdoor furniture cleaning, etc.

Food Service Assistance
A Food Service Assistant may be asked to help with intermittent deep cleaning and organizing of kitchen items and food.

Event Helper
An event helper may come in to help the dietary staff prepare for events by assisting with cooking or setting up tables, chairs, decorations, and the serving center prior to the event, or serving food at the event, and/or taking down event set up and service.
