The vision for Harbor House began in early 2000 when several parents of adult children with severe multiple impairments met to discuss long-term care options. In seeking information about housing, it became obvious to these parents that options were extremely limited. By the summer of 2000, parents and community members formed a Board of Directors who shared the common goal of providing housing

Joey is a recent member of Harbor House. He loves to go on outings, swimming at the Cove, Friendship Ministries, and playing with his John Deere tractors.

Harbor House Ministries homes are uniquely tailored to the needs of the men and women we serve. Designed by individuals with disabilities and their families, our homes are completely accessible with wide hallways and doorways to accommodate equipment, individual climate control and geo-thermal heat/air to control allergens, and large private bedrooms.
