Human Resources Manager

Do you know how to build and coach teams? We are looking for someone with an eye for talent who excels at recruiting and developing staff. Harbor House Ministries is searching for a Human Resources Manager. This person is committed to serving our residents and our employees in working to achieve our mission. This individual will have the primary responsibility of recruiting for the organization’s staffing needs, employee development, disciplinary actions and management of employee benefits. This individual must be a skilled communicator, an effective problem-solver and energetic team builder.

The Job duties include but are not limited to:

· Identify staffing needs, job qualifications requirements, and attraction strategies.

· Full cycle recruiting

· Oversee staff development and performance management

· Assist in staffing strategies for best resource utilization and fulfillment of HHM mission.

· Actively engage with staff to maintain our culture of a great place to work, serve, and grow.

· Manage employee benefits .

Qualifications

Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience

Solid knowledge of current labor laws and fair employment practices

Successful recruiting record, within the health care continuum preferred

Exhibits high integrity and behaves in a professional manner

Able to work autonomously and as part of a team

Skilled communicator

Continuous learner staying up to date on HR issues and related laws.
